Planet Hollywood to Debut Behind-the-Scenes Show, Planet Broadway

The popular theater district restaurant Planet Hollywood plans to offer a new behind-the-scenes show, Planet Broadway, beginning October 19. Featuring a live appearance by a Broadway actor, the show charts the journey from auditions to opening night, allowing audiences to experience Broadway as an insider. The hour-long, multimedia performance will be offered each Sunday at 11AM.

In Planet Broadway, a Broadway actor auditions for an irascible on-screen casting director, performing a unique song-and-dance routine created specifically for the show. Planet Broadway also includes a documentary featuring Broadway performers sharing their stories of making it to the Great White Way. Created by the team responsible for the long-running Wicked: Behind the Emerald, Planet Broadway is designed to be entertaining, educational, and inspirational.
